Curated for Dancers
Olivia has taught pre-professional and professionals at dance companies, studios, schools, and festivals throughout the US, Israel and Europe.
Olivia offers space for dancers to dive deeper into their ability to juggle multiple physical, sensorial, and creative tasks. She encourages dancers to listen to their ingrained movement habits, while inviting new approaches. By exploring the source of our movement, we develop our physical potential and clarity of expression. Every class is part of an ongoing research process. Each is curated for the context, experience level of the dancers, and the needs of the program. Classes may consist of research movement, creative workshops, improvisation, and/or repertoire.
Available in the studio when considered safe by local health authorities for schools, workshops, intensives and dance companies, Olivia is comfortable and proficient in offering these classes on a wide variety of virtual platforms.
Feel free to contact Olivia to explore possibilities and formats that meet the needs of your program or company.

Moving Through
Olivia offers virtual classes for all kinds of movers via her Moving Through series. Launched in the early days of Covid from her Berlin apartment, this class aims to bring the pleasure of movement to everyone. We dance to learn what the body is capable of and appreciate how that can make us feel—new, empowered, and alive. Each class is structured to ease you into a comfortable physical space, ultimately building to a more visceral experience, allowing movers to fully inhabit their bodies in undiscovered ways. Class is continuously guided, designed to keep you engaged, while connecting to yourself and a global community.
Moving Through is suitable for all levels—pre-professional, professional dancers, and dance enthusiasts alike. We love to interact with you with your video on, yet are also fine with participants who are more comfortable with cameras off.
Moving Through can also be customized for organizations to meet the unique needs of work from home workers for every day movement breaks, or as an interlude to virtual meetings.
Be sure to join our Mailing List to stay informed. Go to Take a Class for upcoming sessions.
What movers are saying…
“Jonathan Burrows said this about mentoring: ‘Your mentor can’t solve your problems for you, but they might help you solve them for yourself!’ I could recognize a mentor in Olivia from the first day we met. She was teaching Sharon Eyal’s repertoire, but the knowledge she gifted expanded beyond choreography. I have never met such a generous and open teacher, one that guides you naturally into your own discoveries. Olivia made me feel safe in my body and mind, open to receive new ideas and reminded me how joyous dance and movement can, and should be! I continued learning from her and every class I took brought me new perspectives and ever-occuring sense of wonder and play. Her ability to make us connected to unfiltered feelings and sensations inside, as well as to others sharing the space created some of the most touching dancing memories for me.”
— Isidora | Professional Dancer
“Whether it be on zoom or in the studio, her questioning and guidance always got me to a place of discovery and playfulness which in time offered new corridors to grow and evolve. The way she highlighted the power of community, welcomed the idea that bettering ourselves doesn’t always have to be a lonesome task.
The most powerful aspect of Olivia’s classes that I experienced was the space she offered to be myself. No requirements to be something in order to participate meant that I could go into a space without a feeling of not being enough. In fact, I now feel the opposite. I know I can find more and develop if I simply choose to trust and listen. This is a message that I will continue to carry and keeps me going back to her classes.”
